Lorna is a big shaggy teddy bear bundle of love. She thoroughly enjoys being smothered with affection and will not-so-subtly remind you that you are capable of providing never ending head pats and belly rubs with boops from her scruffy boofhead. She takes a little bit to be won over as her extreme timidness comes out in shaky legs and a tucked tail, but treats, pats and patience are the way to her heart.

This scruffy dreamboat suits a calm, peaceful household as she startles very easily, so any children need to be dog savvy and have a gentle nature. Meeting new people and dogs is a bit scary as her life before foster care appears to have been very sheltered and limited. She gets along well with other dogs but due to her shyness prefers calm personalities, and ones that will just leave her be. She could be quite content being the only queen in her castle and just laying near your feet or following you about in the garden.

Lorna will need a patient, understanding family that is willing to guide her with kindness as she builds confidence in her new world. She is a dream to walk (and she gets very excited for adventure time!) and will match the pace of the person at the other end of her lead. If you walk slow, Lorna will walk slow. If you jog, Lorna will jog. She is best suited to a home with a yard, as rolling in the grass is a favourite pastime, she is also yet to toilet whilst on a walk and prefers the privacy of her garden. Car rides are also a favourite and she will jump in any open door!

There aren't enough positive words to describe Lorna, she is just so very sweet and with her calm and chilled personality she makes an excellent emotional support companion. She is more people centric than dog centric and just treasures every moment with you.
