Meet Tahini, our little poppet 🤍

Tahini is a sweet young Maltese × Shih Tzu mix who came into care after being rescued from a puppy farm. She’s a gentle, quietly affectionate girl who is still learning that people can be kind. New experiences can feel a little scary for her, but she’s slowly discovering that soft voices and patient hands mean safety.

Tahini will need a very understanding and patient home, ideally with someone who has experience with timid or puppy farm dogs. She isn’t ready for cuddles or walks just yet—her new family will need to give her the time and space to simply coexist until she feels safe enough to take those next steps.

She would also really benefit from having a confident resident dog to help guide her and show her the ropes, which can make a big difference in building her confidence.

With time, kindness and consistency, Tahini will begin to trust, and watching her come out of her shell will be incredibly rewarding. She’s a special little girl who just needs someone willing to go at her pace and show her how beautiful life can be.
