About Moose
Moose & Bobby are male Domestic Short Hair cats available for adoption in Parkdale (Melbourne, Victoria).
Moose and Bobby are a bonded pair who bring a beautiful balance of affection, routine and personality into the home. These two cats have grown up side by side, sharing their days between playful moments, quiet companionship and the kind of easy familiarity that comes from knowing each other well.
Together, they offer both connection and calm — a pair that will happily be part of your day, then settle in beside you when it’s time to unwind.
They would suit a calm home where their routine can stay consistent and they can remain together, continuing the close bond they already share.
A little about Moose & Bobby:
🐾 Bonded pair with a strong, familiar connection
🐾 Affectionate and people-focused in their own ways
🐾 Enjoy a calm, predictable routine
🐾 Best suited without dogs
🐾 Low-maintenance, easy companions
Moose is the social, affectionate heart of the duo. He loves a cuddle, happily leaning into his people and often choosing to snuggle in close — especially at the end of the day.
He’s expressive and engaging, known for his sweet nature, gentle headbutts and those unmistakable soft, adoring looks. Moose enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing, whether that’s watching TV together or simply sharing space.
Bobby brings a thoughtful, steady presence. He is affectionate in a quieter, more considered way — forming strong bonds and choosing his moments for connection.
He enjoys routine, appreciates a cosy spot (especially under the blankets), and has a lovely way of letting you know when he’s ready for a cuddle.
Their daily rhythm is calm and familiar.
Mornings begin with breakfast, often followed by Moose settling in to watch the birds while Bobby returns to a favourite resting spot.
Throughout the day, they alternate between naps, quiet observation and gentle interaction.
Evenings are a shared time — you might find Moose leaning in for cuddles while Bobby settles nearby, both content to be part of the moment.
With familiar people, both cats are affectionate and connected. Moose is immediately social and cuddly, while Bobby takes a little more time before settling into closeness.
With unfamiliar people, Moose may briefly step away if unsure but warms quickly, especially with gentle encouragement. Bobby prefers to observe at first, gradually becoming more comfortable and engaging in his own time.
They have lived together as companions and share a relationship that includes both closeness and playful interactions, like brothers who understand each other well.
Moose is currently on a gentle weight management journey and is doing well with a consistent routine that supports his health.
Life with Moose and Bobby feels balanced and easy.
You might notice Moose curled in close for a cuddle, Bobby tucked under the blankets, or both of them quietly sharing space as the day unfolds.
They will suit a guardian who appreciates both affection and independence — a home where each cat can express their personality while continuing their bond together.
If you’re looking for a pair who offer warmth, routine and companionship in two distinct but complementary ways, Moose and Bobby are ready to settle in right beside you.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
