About Edamame, Chickpea & Butterbeans
Meet Edamame, Chickpea and Butterbeans, an enchanting trio of quail sisters with personalities as lovely as their names.
These beautiful girls came to us under difficult circumstances after a breeder was going to kill Edamame because she was born with only one eye. Despite that, Edamame does not let it slow her down at all. She is just as lively and curious as her sisters, exploring her world with the same enthusiasm and confidence.
Since coming into our care, the sisters have won everyone over with their gentle natures and big personalities. They love exploring, foraging and dust bathing, and it is clear how strong their bond is. Because of that, they will need to find a home together where they can continue to thrive in each other’s company.
They are looking for the right people who understand the needs of quail and can provide them with a suitable setup. They will need plenty of space to explore, enrichment to keep them occupied, and a safe area for dust bathing. Their ideal home will also provide a good-quality diet of pellets along with fresh vegetables and the occasional fruit treat.

Adoption details
Regardless of the breed of animal you are looking to adopt, our adoption process is the same.
The first step of the process involves submitting an adoption application form. The form helps us understand a little bit more about you and your household and allows us to determine whether an animal is suited to your home and family and vice versa.
After a review process, shortlisted applicants will be contacted via the Pet Rescue Website. It is usually at at this point that we will organise a Meet & Greet.
If the Meet & Greet goes well on the day, in most cases you will be able to take the animal home straight away after payment of the adoption fee. We have a 2 week trial period to allow the animal to settle into your home and ensure the animal and you are happy. During this time, the animal can be returned to Forget Me Not Rescue for a full refund of the adoption fee.
All necessary paperwork including vet work history and transfer of ownership information will be sent via email within a few days unless otherwise specified.
