🐶 Meet Koda – The Gentle Shadow Who Loves to Cuddle 🐾

Koda has settled beautifully into foster care and has shown himself to be a very sweet, gentle boy. He absolutely loves being around people and has quickly become a little shadow, happily following his humans from room to room. While he has playful bursts of energy, he’s just as content snoozing the day away nearby.

Koda is beginning to discover his favourite toys and seems especially fond of stuffed teddies — he loves carrying them around, chewing on them, and tossing them in the air without destroying them. He’s very treat motivated and already learning basic commands. His food manners are excellent too — he patiently waits for his meals and relaxes on his bed while his humans eat, never begging or trying to sneak food.

He is crate trained and sleeps happily in his crate overnight. Koda is also incredibly affectionate and loves cuddles. If given the chance, he’d happily curl up on the couch or even share your bed just to be close. He’s been wonderful with older children and has a very gentle, submissive nature — often rolling over to request belly rubs and extra hugs.

Koda is almost fully toilet trained and will usually wait by the door when he needs to go outside. Like many young dogs, he’s still learning and has had the occasional overnight accident in his crate, but overall he is doing very well. He also walks nicely on the lead and enjoys exploring new smells. While he can be a little timid with new experiences at first, he warms up quickly with encouragement and positive reinforcement.

Koda loves company and can become a little anxious when left alone, so he would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time — such as a work-from-home household or a family who can give him plenty of attention and reassurance. With his loving nature and sweet personality, Koda is ready to become a loyal and devoted companion to a family who will shower him with the love he deserves. 💛🐾
