About Pumpkin
Hi, I’m Pumpkin, a 9-month-old Staffy cross girl with a heart as big as my smile. I’m sweet, affectionate, and ready to find my forever family. I’m still learning basic manners and would benefit from ongoing training. I have plenty of youthful energy but am eager to learn and keen to please.
With People: Friendly, affectionate, and loves human company. Open to the right family; due to her energetic, bouncy nature, she may be best suited to a home with older children.
With Other Dogs: Still learning her social skills and will benefit from calm, positive introductions and ongoing guidance.

Health: Pumpkin has an ongoing medical condition that will require monitoring and management from time to time. Our team will provide further information and guidance to help ensure she continues to thrive.
Adoption details
If you are interested in meeting one of the dogs available on our adoption page, please contact City of Salisbury on (08) 8406 8222 or email communitycompliance@salisbury.sa.gov.au, and complete an adoption application.
Once your application has been received, we will be in touch to discuss your application and the next steps. This includes organising a meet and greet so you and the dog can get to know one another.
If there are children or other dogs in your household, we ask that a second meet and greet be arranged. This allows for a dog-to-dog introduction and helps ensure your resident dog is also happy with your choice of companion.
Please note that some dogs may require further training and may be too energetic for families with very young children. Our team will guide you through the best options to suit you and your family and help match you with the right dog.
If everything meets your expectations, we will work with you to complete the required paperwork and payment so you can take your newest family member home.
