Pepe’s Interview for a new family: Picture this… I’m Pepe and you adopt me, and we spend the rest of our lives together. You will never be lonely again…I’m a five-year-old handsome Poodle looking for a new love who gets a little lonely like me, yet also as sassy as I am so we can have some fun together. Someone who knows that being with a guy like me just makes the world infinitely better. I love to run around and explore, chase a ball, run under the hose, go for walks, hang out with another dog and especially be with you. Maybe there are 2 hoomans in my new home. Even better! I do end up with my favourite hooman, but the spare is just great as well.

Do I love with my whole heart? Yes indeed. I am totally yours! I want to be with someone who is around most of the time and not go away for hours on end. Do I miss you every second you are gone? I’m ok for a short time, especially if there is another dog with me, but when you are home, I’m your shadow. Do I love to eat? I’m a bit fussy, currently I like Eureka dried food and human grade meat and Lyka. Do I like to be groomed? Of course, I’m a pure-bred poodle so I’m used to being groomed regularly. Do I love the Car? Well YES! That means you are taking me out somewhere with you…The Groomers, Bunnings √ Coffee √ Visiting other people √ Markets √ Oh just anywhere, even the vet√

Do I like other dogs in the home? Yes please! I would love a playmate around my age or a bit older. Not fussed on younger dogs, they get in my face too much so can I have an older friend please? Do I like cats? They are ok, I do react to when I meet them, but I use to sleep with one on my other mums bed for a few years. I want to play with them if they let me. Do I like children? Well, the big kids are cool, but the little kids (under 8-10) kinda scare me, so maybe I shouldn’t be around them. Where do you sleep? I will sleep well on your bed and maybe in a doggy bed pen…only if I have too though. Are you calm or do you bark much? Generally, I’m very calm and confident. Somethings cause me to bark until I get use to them and when I know what they are I’m okay. Toilet trained? Yes, however when in a new environment I may look to pee where other dogs have been or on pot plants inside. If you show me around my new environment as soon as possible and then take me to when you want me to pee I will be ok. I may pee on outdoor furniture/pot plants, so please keep a check on me until I settled into my routine. I can use a doggy door but a bit reluctant to go outside alone in a new place. If you take me outside at night before bed, I will do my business and sleep through the night. I need to go out by about 6am or I may have to check out one of your pot plants to relieve myself.

My life: It’s all about company, walks, playing with a mate or under the hose, sleep, occasional treats, zoomies, going out for coffee with you, cuddling on the couch, practically anything else you like to do, I do too. I love to be stimulated and if you continue to train me, I will show you have clever I am.
