About Tuxedo
Tuxedo is a male Domestic Short Hair cat available for adoption in Epping (Sydney, NSW).
There are cats who tolerate affection. Then there's Tuxedo — a cat who actively seeks it, savours it and gives it back in full.
Head bumps. Lap sits. Soft meows when you've been gone too long.
He has a gentle way of keeping you company — wherever you are, he's usually nearby.
A little about Tuxedo:
🐾 Deeply affectionate — head bumps, lap sits and soft meows included
🐾 Follows his people and loves being part of the household rhythm
🐾 Happy living alongside other friendly cats
🐾 Suits adults, couples and families with gentle children
🐾 Best in a dog-free home
With people he knows, Tuxedo is warm and completely at ease. He leans into pats, settles into laps with total commitment and has a talent for appearing beside you the moment you sit down.
With new faces, he takes a moment to observe. He watches for a moment, then typically wanders over for a gentle pat — on his own timeline, which most people find rather charming.
He's lived happily with other cats and would likely enjoy a feline friend — but he's equally settled and content on his own.
His days have a lovely, unhurried quality. Mornings bring breakfast and a leisurely grooming session. Afternoons drift between sunny nap spots and brushing sessions with whoever is around. Evenings reliably end on the couch — or in your lap — content and purring.
Tuxedo recently had a dental check-up, so his health is in great shape heading into his next chapter.
For anyone who wants a cat who genuinely wants to be near you — not just in the same room, but actually with you — Tuxedo is that cat.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
