Cody is a well-mannered dog, always eager to please and quick to learn. He gets along well with other dogs, as long as introductions are taken slowly and patiently, allowing him to feel comfortable and secure. Once he knows them, he can then show how friendly and social he really is.
While Cody can sometimes feel anxious, he thrives in a calm and understanding environment where he feels safe and supported. He's a loyal friend who will reward you with unwavering devotion. He would love a home with a family who can provide stability, kindness, and gentle guidance.

Medical notes
Cody cannot be desexed due to having only one descended testicle and must remain on lifelong birth control. Ongoing administration of Cody’s prescribed birth control is a legal requirement and is a mandatory condition of adoption, as outlined in his adoption contract.

At W.I.S.H Rescue, our goal is to match every animal in our care with a loving, committed home where they’ll be cherished for life. Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best fit—for both you and your future furry companion.
📝 Step 1: Submit an Adoption Application
Complete our online adoption application form for the dog or cat you’re interested in. This helps us get to know you, your lifestyle, and what kind of pet would be the best match.
📞 Step 2: Application Review & Follow-Up
Our adoption team will review your application and contact you within a few days. We may ask follow-up questions, request photos of your home, or conduct a phone interview to ensure a great fit.
🐕 Step 3: Meet & Greet
If your application is approved, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet with the animal. This could be at your home, the foster carer’s home, or a neutral location depending on the animal's needs.
✨ Step 4: Finalise the Adoption
If the Meet & Greet goes well and everyone is happy, we’ll complete the adoption paperwork, transfer microchip details, and welcome you as an official member of the W.I.S.H Rescue family.
