Beans may be small, but he’s a mighty little fighter with a huge heart. 💪💖 Rescued from a domestic violence situation, this brave boy has already overcome so much. He was born with a condition that caused his eyelids to fuse together, trapping his third eyelids — but thanks to generous donors and our amazing ophthalmologist, Beans had successful surgery and is now thriving.
Today, Beans is living life to the fullest. He’s incredibly affectionate, adores cuddles, and loves nothing more than snuggling up right beside you — or even on your face if you let him! 💤 He’s gentle, loving, and happiest when close to his humans.
Beans also enjoys the company of other cats, often grooming or curling up with his feline friends. He’s got a heart big enough for everyone. 💞
He does have a chronic nasal discharge, which has been thoroughly investigated by vets. He’s tested negative for contagious illnesses, and while the discharge may persist, it doesn’t bother him or hold him back from living a happy, healthy life. His adopter will just need to monitor it and offer him a little extra TLC when needed.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
