Hey, I’m Mort!
I might be one of the smallest in the Madagascar crew, but don’t be fooled — I do things my way. While the big boys are wrestling and showing off, I’m usually off doing my own thing… or giving someone my best “I want cuddles” eyes (they work every time). 👀💛
At just 8 weeks old, I’ve already perfected the art of being adorable and independent. I love a good play session but when I’m done, I’m done — and I’ve been known to fall asleep sitting up mid-play. What can I say? Being this cute is exhausting. 😴
I’m ready to find my furever home — somewhere I can nap, cuddle, and do life at my own relaxed pace.

Adoption details
At W.I.S.H Rescue, our goal is to match every animal in our care with a loving, committed home where they’ll be cherished for life. Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best fit—for both you and your future furry companion.
📝 Step 1: Submit an Adoption Application
Complete our online adoption application form for the dog or cat you’re interested in. This helps us get to know you, your lifestyle, and what kind of pet would be the best match.
📞 Step 2: Application Review & Follow-Up
Our adoption team will review your application and contact you within a few days. We may ask follow-up questions, request photos of your home, or conduct a phone interview to ensure a great fit.
🐕 Step 3: Meet & Greet
If your application is approved, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet with the animal. This could be at your home, the foster carer’s home, or a neutral location depending on the animal's needs.
✨ Step 4: Finalise the Adoption
If the Meet & Greet goes well and everyone is happy, we’ll complete the adoption paperwork, transfer microchip details, and welcome you as an official member of the W.I.S.H Rescue family.
