Gutsy Smurf is a stunning 1-year-old Great Dane x with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s affectionate, playful, and loves being part of whatever his people are doing. Despite his size, he’s a gentle giant who adores cuddles, attention, and spending time with those he trusts.
He’s still young and is keen to keep learning his manners and confidence. Gutsy Smurf responds really well to routine, positive training, and being included in family life. With his smart and loyal nature, he has so much potential to be an amazing companion.
Gutsy Smurf would suit a family, couple, or individual who can offer him time, love, and plenty of space to stretch those long legs. He’s ready for a home where he can become someone’s loyal best mate and continue growing into the incredible dog he is.

Adoption details
At W.I.S.H Rescue, our goal is to match every animal in our care with a loving, committed home where they’ll be cherished for life. Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best fit—for both you and your future furry companion.
📝 Step 1: Submit an Adoption Application
Complete our online adoption application form for the dog or cat you’re interested in. This helps us get to know you, your lifestyle, and what kind of pet would be the best match.
📞 Step 2: Application Review & Follow-Up
Our adoption team will review your application and contact you within a few days. We may ask follow-up questions, request photos of your home, or conduct a phone interview to ensure a great fit.
🐕 Step 3: Meet & Greet
If your application is approved, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet with the animal. This could be at your home, the foster carer’s home, or a neutral location depending on the animal's needs.
✨ Step 4: Finalise the Adoption
If the trial goes well and everyone is happy, we’ll complete the adoption paperwork, transfer microchip details, and welcome you as an official member of the W.I.S.H Rescue family.
