About Whiskey
Whiskey has gained her confidence and found her footing after being rescued from a Sydney animal shelter and coming into our care.
At just seven months old, she faced the challenges of abandonment and confinement in the shelter, where she struggled to thrive.
This young dog is underweight at the moment and slowly gaining condition. She has a happy disposition around people and other dogs. She is currently learning to walk on a lead.
We are looking for a stable home environment for Whiskey and her owners will need to follow through with her loose lead training. Whiskey loves her fellow fur friends so we are looking for a home as a friend for a medium to large breed calm dog.
If you live in Queensland or Victoria you can consider adopting Whiskey however, you must be able to drive with your family to meet Whiskey. If for whatever reason Whiskey does not fit your family then she is to be returned to our care in Sydney at your expense.
To apply for Whiskey, please either click on the link “Enquire about Whiskey” and we will send you an application form or go to our website and complete the application form.

Medical notes
Whiskey will be desexed when age appropriate and under veterinary recommendation.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
