About Amber
đAmber is a chunky punky, she loves dry food and always comes running when she hears her food bowl or puzzle toy being filled. She is gentle and sweet in nature, sleeping often and having a play around with her sister Baileys.
đAmber is not needy, she likes to lay on the bed or on the bed head have her pats when you are ready. She likes to be around the house, not on top of you but in the same room. Amber only makes noises when she is up for a chat or sees a bird out the window.
Both Amber and Baileys came into care as 2-week-old kittens, they were found dumped in a box out front of a liquor store in the city. They both have been healthy, no illnesses or extra vet visits other than their vaccination and desexing appointments.
đAmber has lived with other cats, she is respectful but takes time to get to know new friends. She has been around dogs and would prefer a quiet, older dog who doesn't want to engage with her. Amber has met lots of people, she prefers to meet them from a distance but if they have a wand toy, she is their bestie.
Both Amber and Baileys are up for adoption together or Foster to Adopt (F2A). F2A means that you take the girls into your home as a foster carer for about 6 weeks. During this time, as they settle and show off their sweet personalities the rescue takes care of their costs. If at the end of the time period you think they would suit your lifestyle and home, then we do an adoption (no cost charged - except a $10 fee per girl for microchip transfer ($20 in total)). If you feel the girls are not suitable for your home life, we will take them back into rescue.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is flexible, we want our kittens to be in homes that meet their needs. All potential adopters are asked to complete an application either via email or a phone call. We often make a call to potential adopters to chat through the application. We then organise a meet and greet if you and our kitten's needs match.
All adopters get a 40% off voucher from Royal Canin to make a purchase of the wet food and dry food you need. You do need to sign up to the Healthy Pets Club that contains advice for keeping your kitten happy, healthy and thriving. As well as any sales on kitten food.
