About Tucker
Tucker has found his feet and confidence after coming into our care as a rescue from a Sydney animal shelter.
Being a young dog at only six months of age, finding himself abandoned and confined in an animal shelter Tucker was fearful and anxious.
This young dog was taken into our care and immediately placed into a calm environment where he learnt to trust humans and enjoy the company of other dogs.
Tucker walks beautifully on a loose lead and willingly goes to his bed and will obey drop and sit commands.
We are looking for a stable home environment for Tucker and his owners will need to follow through with his loose lead training. Tucker loves his fellow fur friends so we are looking for a home as a friend for a medium to large breed calm dog.
If you live in Queensland or Victoria you can consider adopting Tucker however, you must be able to drive with your family to meet Tucker. If for whatever reason Tucker does not fit your family then he is to be returned to our care in Sydney at your expense.
To apply for Tucker, please either click on the link “Enquire about Tucker” and we will send you an application form or go to our website and complete the application form.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
