About Sahra
Meet Sahra, a delightful three-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd and Swiss Shepherd mix with a spirited and loving personality. Her current life on an acreage has allowed her to freely explore and embrace her zest for life. Sahra is excellent with rural fencing and has shown a natural affinity for livestock, demonstrating not only her intelligence but also her adaptability to various living environments. Her exceptional recall adds to her charm, as she happily walks beside her owners, ready for adventure or simply enjoying your company.
Sahra is especially fond of swimming, often taking rejuvenating dips in the river. She shares her home with older children, another dog, and even a cat. She has a gentle and social nature, making her an excellent candidate for a family environment. Her ideal new family would be experienced with German Shepherds or large breed dogs, understanding the dedication and commitment required to make Sahra a cherished member of the household.
If you have recently owned a German Shepherd or large breed dog, and understand German Shepherd and think you have the commitment to give me a new home, then please select the "Enquire about Sahra" and we will send you an application form or go to our website and complete the application form.

If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet her. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Sahra will be vaccinated, wormed, heart worm tested and desexed when a new home is found for her.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
