About Nyxia and Shade
Meet Nyxia and Shade a beautiful pair of older German Shepherds. Shade (black male) is 6 years old and Nyxia (sable female) is five years old.
Their owner has had to move back in with family due to medical reasons and is no longer able to keep her dogs on the property.
Nyxia is a bit of a princess and she knows it. She loves cuddles and is vocal when getting attention.
Shade is a lovely boy, happy to get some attention.
Both dogs have good recall in the yard and have been socialised with Italian Greyhounds. They haven't been tested with cats or pocket pets.
Nyxia and Shade are currently available for adoption in NSW, Queensland and Victoria. If you're interested in making them cherished members of your family, you'll need to drive with your loved ones to meet them. Should they, for any reason, not be the perfect fit for your family, you would be responsible for either bringing them back to Sydney or helping us rehome them from your home.
To apply for "Nyxia and Shade", please either click on the link "Enquire about Nyxia and Shade"" or go to our website and complete the application form.

We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
