About Barrel - Meet me @ Petstock Brighton East!
Meet Barrel, the sweetest and most affectionate kitten friend you could wish for. Barrel is a lovable ball of fur, full of charm and boundless energy. His friendly and playful attitude is irresistible.
Nonetheless, Barrel is more than just a playful spirit. He is extremely loyal and has all the qualities you would want in a best friend. He constitutes a comforting presence with his gentle and loving nature, often seeking out human companionship for a warm lap to sit on or a gentle hand to stroke his back.
While he is filled with energy, Barrel loves his peaceful indoor life. His ideal day consists of playing with his favourite toys indoors, snoozing in a sunlit window, and spending quality time with his family. Because he’s an indoor cat, Barrel needs an environment where his adventurous spirit can flourish while staying safe and protected from the outside world.
Barrel also yearns for a feline friend to keep him company. He cherishes the company of his brother, Caynon, and would be thrilled to be adopted with him. Barrel and Caynon bring out the best in each other, often playing and napping together in the cutest way.
To sum up, Barrel is a sweet, gentle and playful cat, packed with lots of love to give. Though he keeps himself entertained with toys and hide-n-seek, he also spends time purring on laps and spreading his affection. Adopt Barrel and welcome a bundle of joy and love to your home.
Barrel will be at PETstock Brighton East in their adoption unit from Saturday 17 August. Everyone is invited to head in store to meet Barrel during store operation hours.

Adoption details
Regardless of the breed of animal you are looking to adopt, our adoption process is the same.
The first step of the process involves submitting an adoption application form. The form helps us understand a little bit more about you and your household and is used to figure out whether animal is the right fit for your household and what you are looking for, and also if your household is the right fit for the animal.
After a review process, shortlisted applicants will be contacted by one of our volunteer adoption coordinators usually by phone call or message. This is an informal conversation to discuss any questions we may have about the application and re-confirm any information provided. It is usually at at this point that we will organise a Meet & Greet with you and the animal.
It is a Strong Heart’s adoption policy to arrange a Meet & Greet with the prospective family and the animal before finalising the adoption. The Meet & Greet will allow the opportunity to visit the animal and have a pat and a play with them. The foster carer will tell you a bit about the animal's personality and what they have been like for the time they’ve been in their care. It is a great opportunity to ask the carer about the animals food, sleeping and any other health requirements.
If the Meet & Greet goes well on the day, in most cases you will be able to take the animal home straight away after payment of the adoption fee. All necessary paperwork including vet work history and transfer of ownership information will be sent via email within a few days unless otherwise specified.
