Barney

Barney is the ultimate couch buddy and your new movie night companion. Whether you’re binge-watching your favourite show or curling up with a good book, Barney will be right by your side, usually sprawled out with his back legs stretched behind him, dozing off before you've even chosen what to watch.

During the day Barney loves soaking up the sun, sniffing around in the yard, and having a playful chew on a shoe when he thinks no one’s looking. While the great big world can feel a little too much for Barney, he’s happiest in a safe and quiet home where the sounds and sights are familiar.

Barney is still learning how to manage his emotions, especially when he gets excited or anxious, but he’s improving every day with patience and love. He thrives in a calm environment with one or two adults who can provide a structured, nurturing routine. Barney would do best without children or other pets, as they can overwhelm him, but he would love a backyard to explore at his own pace.

Barney is all about love and laughs. If you meet him, you’ll see how easy it is to fall head over heels for this adorable guy, just like we have.
