About Matilda Eileen
Matilda Eileen || Staffy/Shih Tzu type mix (15kg short & stocky)
Meet Matilda Eileen the Snuggle Queen (Tilly for short 😉 ) this gorgeous girl & her glorious butt-mullet are ready to find her furever home! Tilly hasn't had the easiest life, coming into care with an old injury that required amputation (bye bye T-Rex Arm) but she has definitely been loved & has a lot to give. She needs a home that will make sure she stays fit & trim to keep the pressure off her remaining limbs. Tilly does have some separation anxiety & is not a dog to be left alone in the backyard, she likes to be inside with her people. She is great with children, though she can be a bit rowdy when she plays & would be best suited to kids 5 & up. Tilly is a bit reactive towards other dogs while on the lead & will need a human committed to working with her quirks to make her the best doggo she can be. Tilly is good with most other dogs, however she will clash with other dominant females & would be more than happy to have her humans to herself 😉 She has had limited exposure to cats prior to coming into care; if they're dog savvy & give her a good whack she'll leave them alone, otherwise she has a tendency to chase. Our adventurous girl also loves car-rides & hopes to tag along every chance she gets. Tilly will make an amazing companion for her lucky new hoomans!
**As with all doggos it is important that the correct behaviours & boundaries are established early on. We highly recommend enrolling in a doggy school & further education classes to help foster a positive relationship with your dog & mold them into a model canine citizen!**
**Potential adopters MUST have secure fencing & real-estate approval if renting*
Tilly's adoption fee is $350 (plus council registration for local adoptions). She goes home desexed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations (C5), wormed, flea controlled and vet checked.
Medical notes
Matilda has had her front left leg amputated while in care due to an old, untreated injury.
