About Memphis
Memphis was surrendered as his owner was evicted and could no longer care for him
From current foster carer:
My name is Memphis - a lovely dude with an admirable shiny coat. I came out of my shell (hiding place) just a day after I arrived. But I still have lots of question marks as to why I needed to leave my old place - a place where I could freely wander outside. I have not got used to this new life and perhaps because there are 2 cats of the carer. I am not sure if they are friendly. Forgive me, perhaps I need more space, patience and love as the only feline friend of a family.
The carer praises that I am well toilet trained. In terms of food, I am fine with some wet food in the evening and some dry food to cover the day. Chicken - that's my favourite!
I am quiet most of the time but readily talk to remind you of the feeding time.
Memphis was used to being able to access outside so would do well in a house where after settling in, he would be allowed out during part of the day.
Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email par.adoptions@gmail.com if you would like further information.
Dogs and cats are rehomed on two weeks trial to ensure that both the person adopting them and the rescuer are satisfied that the dog / cat / animal is happy and adapting well to their new home and this can be extended on request
Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
