About Sweet Bursaria
Introducing the sweetest girl in the world! Sweet Bursaria, (named after the Indigenous plant on the Mornington Peninsula.)
Sweet Bursaria is a 2-3 year old Bull Arab who came from a home in rural NSW with 15 other dogs and was then given to a man who had no fences, so she wandered the streets.
She is a super cuddly and lovable girl, she is crammed full of personality and is goofy, cheeky and very much loves her humans. Very typical of a bull arab which is a mixed breed.
Sweet Bursaria absolutely loves her walks but can pull and is quite strong, so a front leading harness is recommended. She is however very food obsessed. (You definitely have to be careful leaving food on the bench or table). Fruit and vegetables are safe however!!
This beautiful brindle girl is not a big player of toys, she is happy to occupy herself just lounging around with a human friend.
Sweet Bursaria enjoys the car and going on new adventures, getting into the car is still something she is working on, however once inside she is happy.
She is easily startled so loud noises and shouting are best kept minimal, possibly due to her history. Sweet Bursaria herself, is a naturally quiet dog and will rarely bark.
Sweet Bursaria knows basic commands such as:
sit, wait, stay, on your bed, off, down and ‘okay’. She sits before each meal and is learning to wait before crossing the road.
Her party trick is to catch treats when tossed to her!
Dogs are always a welcome addition to Sweet Bursaria on her walks. She adores meeting dogs on her walks and is very friendly with them. Definitely no cats as she has not tested well with them unfortunately.
Sweet Bursaria does suffer from seperation anxiety and would prefer a home with someone who is home a majority of the time. She is currently on medication and undergoing training to assist with her anxiety.
Sweet Bursaria would be best suited to a home with older kids (15+) as she can be a bit jumpy and is very strong on the lead. She also is a bit frightened of small children.
An active household where someone is home the majority of the time, with or without another dog would be ideal for this girl. She would be an awesome walking/running partner and with more socialisation and training she will make a wonderful pet.
