We’ve noticed that a significant number of pets are being listed as ‘removed’, or have remained ‘on hold’ for a long time past what one might expect for a trial period.
So we’re having a stats spring-clean, and we need your help to ensure our numbers are ship-shape, so that we can promote your incredible rehoming efforts.
The ‘removed’ option is designed to be used for the small number of pets that may have been euthanised or passed away in care.
The ‘on hold’ option can be used during the adoption trial period, for pets that have an adoption in process, or for pets that have received a number of applications while your rescue group processes these (this removes the pet from the active listings to save further enquiries coming in).
‘Rehomed’ is our very favourite! So once your pets are safe and snug in their new homes, be sure to click the ‘rehomed’ option. That way we can all celebrate the true number of pets rehomed.
If you have any questions about these options, please email us at members@petrescue.org.au.
