Seeking one small fluffy for one lonely lady
PetRescue member Cherished Pets is on the lookout for a small dog, preferably a Bichon Frise or Bichon mix, to help soothe the broken heart of an elderly client who recently lost her pet. Can you help?
"One of our most dearest patients and #1 Cherished Pets poster girl Daisy, a Bichon Frise, died unexpectedly two weeks ago from liver/splenic cancer. She was the cherished pet of Dawn, who is 86, and one of our original and most loved community project recipients. Dawn is devastated as we all are, and she is struggling in her grief. She is seeking a new companion, preferably a Bichon or Bichon Cross or non-moulting breed (due to allergies in the family). Dawn is still very able and capable, and we provide assistance with dog walking. So this dog will be assured of a wonderful life with full CP community support. We can’t replace Daisy, nor will we try, but Dawn is so lonely and needs a companion dog sooner rather than later. These little dogs are so very popular and get adopted so quickly."
