Emergency Relief Fund Terms and Conditions

Applicants must be a current active member of PetRescue to be eligible. Suspended or banned rescue organisations will not be considered.

Rescue organisations are able to apply for both streams of funding support if applicable. Applications for both The Emergency Relief Fund and The Innovation Fund must be submitted individually, and organisations can only apply once.

Applicants must be able to prove that they are experiencing hardship as a result of the impact of COVID-19.

Applicants must be able to provide evidence of how this funding will assist during this time, and provide support to continue their rescue efforts in future.

Financial statements or reports provided as evidence of negative financial impact must be within the period January 1, 2019, to April 27, 2020.

Funds must be used for the benefit of the rescue organisation and for the nominated intended purpose only.

Applicants agree to complete a follow-up survey 6 months post transfer of funds to report back to PetRescue and Animals Australia on how these funds were appropriately spent, and how the organisation was supported from this.

Any documents submitted to support your request for support will remain confidential and will solely be used for the purpose of assessing funding applications only.

All decisions on recipients to receive funding is at the discretion of PetRescue, and applying does not guarantee you will receive support.

Successful applicants will be notified by 29.05.20

Available for organisations enduring significant financial hardship due to loss or expected loss of income due to the impact of COVID-19.
Future Innovation and Sustainability Fund
To support organisations to modify, adapt or innovate their traditional operations in these changing times.
