Canine Communication Seminar: Understanding Dog Behaviour and Body Language
This seminar is developed and presented by Kathy Kopellis Mcleod, from Kathy’s Behaviour & Dog Training Consulting. It covers important topics such as how to reduce anxiety by learning the language of dogs. The seminar will be held in Perth, Western Australia on Saturday 19th September from 9am to 12.30pm.

Why is Animal Welfare Important to Dogs? Webinar
Mia Cobb covers the what, why and how of animal welfare science as it applies to modern dogs. Drawing on practical examples from companion, shelter, working dog and veterinary clinic contexts, participants will be updated with the latest science of dogs and animal welfare and learn how to apply this knowledge to improve the lives of the dogs around us. The live online lecture will take place on August 26th, 2015 from 8-9.30pm AEST.

- Send an email, with the subject line ‘Knowledge is Power Competition’, to info@petrescue.org.au
- Include the following details in your email: your name, your mobile phone number, your email address, the name of your rescue group, shelter or pound and the name of the event you wish to attend (APDT Conference or Canine Communication Seminar).
- Then tell us three things that you would like to see more of in the Members Area of the website/Members newsletter. Easy!
The first complete entries to be received via email to info@petrescue.org.au (with all required details provided in full) will be deemed the winners, so be quick!
Your rescue group, shelter or pound must be a member of PetRescue to enter the competition.
Entries must be received by close of business Monday 31st August 2015 and the winners will be notified on Tuesday 1st September, 2015.
The prize does not include travel, accommodation or other expenses.
