The No Kill Movement
The No Kill Movement is a commitment to rejecting the killing of healthy and treatable pets for convenience, and implementing a proven 11-step model for saving lives.
It’s a global movement that’s achieving sustainable results in a growing number of communities worldwide, and PetRescue is working tirelessly to encourage Australia’s pounds and shelters to become a part of that life-saving success story.
Humane Cat Management
Suburban cat management programs cause a lot of headaches and heartaches because they employ hugely unpopular (and often lethal) methods of population control. PetRescue believes that they fail to solve the key issues at the heart of this topic, making finding a workable solution an important part of our mission.
Getting 2 Zero Conference
Getting 2 Zero (G2Z) is a biennial conference that aims to increase responsibility for companion animals so that every community and municipality can achieve zero euthanasia of all healthy and treatable cats and dogs. Find out more about how you can attend and support this event here.
