About Pocket Pet Sanctuary
I have run Pocket Pet Sanctuary solo about 4yrs now, fully independent and with no government funding. As I run this rescue independently with no others, I do not qualify as NFP and I currently do not have the ability to expand. Rabbits are no longer accepted unless they have been previously adopted from Pocket Pet Sanctuary, this is simply because the rescue is now in close proximity to a dedicated rabbit rescue and assists that rescue.
For rabbits on the Central Coast there is Rescue Rabbit:
I am still fully operating as a rescue for ferrets, birds, rats/mice and some poultry. There is not usually a surrender fee, but a donation towards any care or vetting they may need is appreciated. Strays are welcome as unfortunately too many get bred and then dumped, often when hormones change their usually sweet behavior.
Best wishes to all during this Covid crazy spell.
