About

Our aim is to rescue dogs in pounds in our local areas of Rutherford, Maitland, Cessnock, Singleton and Port Stephens ,

We then place them with foster carers in those local areas for rehoming.

All dogs are desexed, vaccinated and wormed and flea treated. At the end of the 2 week trial the dog will be lifetime registered in the name of the new owner

Adoption details

We require an initial application over the phone or in writing and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.

We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.

Louisa is a stunning Neoplolitan Mastiff x with the most gorgeous coat colour. She is 3 years old, friendly and gentle but a little shy when she first meets strangers. . Louisa has a very beautiful personality that matches her stunning good looks. She has lovely manners and will sit and stay on command. Louisa is happy to play outside during the day while her foster mum is at work but she sleeps indoors at night. She is house trained. Louisa is in foster care in Cessnock and would be suitable as an only dog with no other pets . She will make a family looking for a large breed placid dog very happy. Fox Terrier Mix

Roxy is a 12 year old mini foxy x. she has a sweet friendly nature and loves everyone Roxy came into Rescue with 3 of her pals, Tiny, Chappy and Spooky Tiny has been adopted and has gone to his new home already Roxy has had an injury to her back at some time and although it doesnt give her any pain she has some mobility problems . She can walk and even jump up and jump over small obstacles but her hind legs can get a little out of control and she can lose her balance . She needs a home with no stairs and she doesnt need much excercise, so no walks and no young dogs to knock her over.. She is happy and loves life and her disability doesnt affect her in any way . Roxie is a sweet girl who deserves a wonderful retirement home. Roxy is desexed and vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms If you think you can offer Roxy a home where she can be loved for her twilight years please email for an application form Roxy does need a little dog for company or she can be adopted with Chappy or Spooky I

Victor is a 2 year old pure bred Dalmation. He is an assisted rehome and not in care with Paterson Valley Dog rescue Victor is desexed, vaccinated and wormed and flea treated He is an energetic dog that needs an owner who is willing to keep up with him. He isnt good with cats which is the reason for him to be rehomed He is friendly, good looking and in great health and best as an only dog . Victor needs someone committed to continue his training as he was not socialised as a young puppy . He would be best with an experienced dog owner He isnt available to a home with small children as he is still to energetic If Victor looks like the dog for you please email for an application Victor is in the Newcastle area

Spooky is a 6 year old male smooth coated Chihuahua. Spooky is a little anxious around new people but warms up quickly when he knows you wont hurt him.and therefore a home without children is necessary Spooky and his pal Chappy can be rehomed together or another small dog to keep Spooky company is required. Spooky will best suit a quiet home where someone will understand his personality and not rush him and will work with his anxiety Spooky has lived outside all his life. We are looking for a home where he will not be left outside anymore. He will need someone to keep working on his housetraining which is coming along well while in foster care. Chappy is a sweet 6 year old smooth coated chihuahua He cam into rescue with 3 of his buddies . spooky , roxy and tiny Tiny who is 12 has already found his family Chappy is a healthy, if a little overweight friendly little guy. He could be rehomed with Spooky who is a cute black and white Chi of the same age. Otherwise another small dog would be needed to keep Chappy company. He has lived with his pals all his life so isnt available to go to a home with no other dogs We dont know if they have lived with cats and although Chappy would be fine with children over 6 , Spooky is quite timid and needs reassurance so a home without children is needed for him Chappy is desexed and vaccinated and health checked and although he has a low grade luxating patella he doesnt need surgery A little weight loss will be enough to correct any issues. Chappy is in foster care in Hinton and we give a 2 week trial to see that Chappy fits in with your family More photos to come soon
