  • Bindi & Buddy

    Beagle

    Adorable bonded pair

We are Bindi (age 10) and Buddy (age 9). We came into the rescue together and that’s how we want it to stay. I’m Bindi and it’s generally acknowledged that I am the boss, but I can be quite timid in new situations, which means I may take a while to trust you. My fella Buddy is a real softy and will follow you around and be your lapdog should you let him. We both behave extremely well in the house, are gentle and well-mannered and we just love being around humans of any age. We both are very skilled in basic training and know all the basic commands. We are both VERY food motivated (we are beagles after all!) but we don’t try and steal each other’s food and would never be mean to one another. I will even do a cute little pirouette whilst waiting for my dinner. We have come from a property where we were free to roam around, but we are slowly adapting to life in suburbia with our foster mum. We both need to get better with our lead skills, but with patience and reassurance we have both come on in leaps and bounds. Buddy is getting used to seeing and being around other dogs, but I am a bit more cautious, and at this stage we are being walked separately. We are looking for a new home that will continue with this commitment to our training to help us gain better social skills, but we won’t really do well with any other animals. The adoption fee also includes training assistance if required.
