About Best Friend Fur Ever Rescue
Best Friend Fur Ever Rescue is an ethical "NO KILL" rescue run solely by volunteers in QLD and NSW.
We are located in rural western QLD where there is an enormous problem with breeding.
We manage a *Last Litter Program* which involves taking the pups into Rescue and once they are in our care we get all their vet work including desexing done.
We get the mother of the pups desexed at no cost to the owner to help stop the breeding cycle.
We also care for any abused, abandoned or surrendered adult dogs from all areas where ever possible.
We are a non-profit charity that is focused on retraining, rehabilitating and rehoming all breeds of dogs.
All our kennel dogs are Vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea/tick treated and desexed.
All dogs are behaviour tested and socialised with other dogs to make sure there is no aggression.
In addition to the above, we coordinate a *Foster Care Program* for community members that are able to care for one of our Rescue dogs until they have found their fur-ever home.
Fostering is a wonderfully rewarding experience where you will witness how much a dog is able to change in such a short period of time.
Dogs that may be quite timid and shy will respond with love and a renewed zest for life just from being placed in a family environment where they feel safe and secure.
Best Friend Fur Ever also focuses on human education.
We like to educate community members to the importance of desexing animals, training their dogs, nutrition and essential vaccinating, parasite treatment and regular Vet check-ups.
Links to our dogs that are available for adoption can be found here.
Best Friend Fur Ever does NOT support the breeding of dogs by anyone who is not registered to do so.
