Chihuahua Rescue Australia Inc, a not-for-profit organisation based in Melbourne, was established to rescue and rehome Chihuahuas and mixed-breed Chihuahuas across Australia.

We take in Chihuahuas, from all walks of life, that have become homeless through no fault of their own. All of our Chihuahuas are assessed by a behaviourist then desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and placed into loving foster homes while they wait to find their 'pawfect match'.

We are firm believers in foster care and are always looking for new foster carers and volunteers to help us. We are entirely staffed by volunteers, we receive no government funding and rely on the community for donations and support to help the Chihuahuas of Australia.
