SIMBA is an affectionate boy. He likes to chill-out and do his own thing and then will seek out some attention. He enjoys a gentle ear, cheek and chin rub. He's a lovely inquisitive companion. Simba loves his bed, especially on a cold or rainy day and loves to sit on his cat scratching post and just watch the world go by. He gets along well with his foster sisters and brother.

Opie

OPIE has had a very rough start to life. After coming into care with FFARQ late 2016, Opie escaped from his carer in January 2017 and was only just found again (& returned to FFARQ) in October 2018. He has spent an entire 21 months fending for himself on the road. It is entirely uncertain how much contact with humans or regular food he has had during this time. But miraculously enough his health has remained stable and he has suffered no lasting damage. A little scratch on the nose was all we could see. Else he got a clean bill of health from the vet.

Opie is still very timid and anxious, and not trusting humans much, but he loves the company of kittens. He especially is very fond of Ed, who regularly snuggles up to him. Both seem to have developed a special liking for each other. ❤💕

He does tolerate human touch, when approached very gently and slowly, but will hiss and panick when startled. Seems he is still suspicious and unsure whether to consider humans a threat or a blessing? (They currently do bring him food, speak to him in the nicest manner and look after him. But who knows what some of them did to him previously?)

He will require a home where he can slowly get used to his human(s) and be able to gain trust again one little bit at a time.

Preference will be given to persons/families with experience with anxious cats, and we recommend no (small) children at this point. Another peaceful and gentle pet in the household for Opie to bond with could be very beneficial (IF they get along). As would be to adopt Opie and his favourite kitten friend Ed together. If you are looking to adopt 2 cats, these two would make a perfect pair. 💙💙

Coco is a confident, outgoing & affectionate little kitty. She likes to follow Lady Gaga up on her human's shoulders (or back) for a better view of the world. 😂

Coco gets along well with other kittens & cats and loves children, too. She loves to follow her humans closely all around the house and doesn't want to miss one bit of the action. Playing with her siblings, friends and humans are her favourite activities. Also eating and napping like a boss.

Freya

Still a young girl herself, FREYA has been a terrific mother, and is a sweet natured soul once you earn her trust. After being found by the side of the road in the bush with her two kittens, Hannah and Lou-Lou, she was impounded but unfortunately was not claimed by any owners. It's obvious that she's been protecting her kittens and is unsure of strangers at first. But once she knows you are a friend and won't hurt her she'll let you pick her up, and then she'll purr and enjoy your company. That's a big mountain she has already climbed and things will only get better for her.

She was hissy upon arrival but has since settled and is waiting for her forever home. If you are ready to give this sweet girl your love and patience, you and Freya could have a wonderful story together. Please enquire about Freya below.

Chester would suit a quiet, relaxed home where he can be given lots of affection, and a calm spot to call his own.

Hannah

HANNAH has a funny personality and proves the point that cats are smart! She loves a good play and with the right family, she will fit right in. And look at those fabulous, graceful ears. She's quite a beauty.

She loves interaction with the human kind. She listens to her name and comes to you when you call her. She loves to snuggle next to you, purring and gives you little ‘love bites’ as I call them as it's just a little nip…. but also loves her own space.

Hannah doesn't liked being picked up but she's getting there.

After being found by the side of the road in the bush with her mum (Freya) and sibling, she was impounded but unfortunately was not claimed by any owners. If you would like a forever play date with the gorgeous Hannah, please enquire below.
