Lola - small female guinea pig

Hi my name is Lola and I have been pregnant for pretty much my entire life and I am so glad to have made it here to the ACS shelter where I can now be loved for how special I am and not for how many babies I can have. I came to the shelter with my 4 remaining friends Amy, Nina, Sandie and Jess who are all 1 years of age (all of my bubs and other mates were sent to the pet shop until our neighbour found out about ACS- How lucky for usJ) We would all love a special new home where we will be loved for being just our gorgeous selves.

We prefer our piggies to be kept indoors or on a veranda or somewhere where they can see you and you can see them as we find that piggies get forgotten when left out the back in a lawn hutch. Guinea Pigs must be kept in a cool shady spot throughout summer as they will die from heat stroke very quickly. If you have your Guinea pigs outside please also make sure that they are kept out of the rain.
