Jemma - large female irish wolfhound x dog

**THIS GIRL IS IN A BOARDING KENNEL AND HAS BEEN HOMELESS FOR 5 MONTHS NOW AND IS DESPERATE FOR A HOME PLS HELP HER FIND HER FOREVER HOME**
Gemma came into rescue with her partner Trevor, having been abandoned by their previous owners.
She loves people and will do anything for a cuddle, and likes nothing more than to have someone toss a ball or a toy for her & except she thinks its fun to avoid giving them back!
She is a very affectionate girl who despite her size is convinced she is a lap dog.
She has a low maintenance wiry coat.

Gemma needs a very special home as she has one problem. Apart from Trevor she does not like ANY other dog, we suspect this is because her previous owners did not socialise her in any way. To help with this problem she has undergone intensive training with Steve Austin, arguably Australias leading dog trainer and behaviourist. This training is being continued with her foster carer, and the special person who adopts Gemma into their family will have unlimited free training with Steve Austin for the rest of Gemmas life. The training means that Gemma can be walked on a lead with calmness and control.
Off-leash parks are out of the question for her.
There must be someone out there who can give this beautiful girl a home, all she craves is love and affection from her human family. Gemma is desexed, micro chipped, heartworm tested, wormed and on monthly flea/heartworm prevention.
