Max - large male rottweiler x dog

A good natured, happy, friendly and active dog, Max likes everyone and its hard not to like him back. He doesnt seem to have a mean bone in his body.

Hes just a youngster but showing good indications of maturing into a steadfast, calm and sensible fellow. His his inner puppy boofhead is still frequently present, and he has a playful puppy joy and curiousity about life. He loves playing chasey wrestling games with his doggy pals and would be an excellent companion for another playful dog.

Max is gentle enough for older children and walks nicely on lead without pulling so is easy to manage for a large dog. Hes also good on off-lead walks as he doesnt run off and his recall is very good.

Max loves to fetcha a ball or play with a tug rope, and will happily exersise and amuse himself with his toys. He loves to cuddle and smooch with his humans, as he is a devoted and affectionate dog.

Max is slightly taller than a pure rotti, but not quite as heavily built. He needs only gentle leadership and guidance but would be best suited to someone who is confident round big dogs. Hes a cooperative dog and will benefit from training with his new owner, to help develop the bond between them. Max is a very obedient dog, just as long as he understands what you want.

Max is a quiet dog generally and can spend long hopurs alone without fretting or misbehaving. He has an impressive big, deep bark which he uses to warn you of strangers at the house. He is an excellent watchdog and his presence alone would be a deterrent to most would-be intruders.

Max will be happy to be an outdoor only dog, as long as he has plenty of shelter and attention from his humans - but hes also well behaved indoors. Max is moderately active and will need a daily walk or off-lead run.
