Molly & George - male dsh cat

George and Molly were seriously ill, malnourished & flea ridden and feeling very miserable indeed at the time of their rescue from Death Row at the pound. They had to be rushed to our vet and remain in hospital, where they are both on a drip. They required blood tests, and will require syringe feeding and intensive rehabilitation over an extended period.

After being part of a family for a number of years, how sad it is, firstly to think that they should finish up on Death Row at the pound, when their owner passed away and no one made any provision for them, and secondly, how distressing to see two such lovely cats in such a seriously deteriorated state.

After a week in hospital, with both cats on a drip, Georgie and Molly were released from hospital today. They will continue their recovery in foster care, where they will receive all the love and care they deserve.

They are looking better, but will require syringe feeding 3-4 times per day, and intensive care over the next several weeks.

Georgie and Molly's medical expenses to date, are approx $1,100.00

Molly is a very big girl and a bit of a smoocher. George is Molly's other half and they have lived together for the last eight years. It would be great if the two of them could find a new home together.George is a lovely boy, he tends to keep to himself a bit but will give his new owner love and friendship.
