About Pumpkin (On Trial)
On trial in a new home 8/10/11. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au. . . Pumpkin is a delightful 3yo purebred cavalier king charles spaniel. She simply adores being around people of any age. Loves to go out walking and is reasonably good on a lead, this could be improved with some training as she is a very clever young lady. . . Pumpkin's coat is short and easy to maintain with a good brushing from time to time. She is a wee bit chubby at 10. 3kg. She loves her food and is not a fussy eater. Pumpkin is not fully house trained as yet but can now sleep inside all night without any accidents, which was not the case when she first came into care. She is an inside dog and needs to be inside with her family, at least when people are home, and must sleep inside. . . Pumpkin is ready for a forever family. With lots of love, patience and a little training, she will give you her heart in return. . . For the past 3 years pumpkin’s main companion has been robbie a male cavalier king charles spaniel we are fostering who is also available for adoption http://www. Petrescue. Com. Au/view/124510. You can read about our adoption procedure and see more dogs available on our website http://www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au/adopt. Html. . About the breed: "the cavalier king charles spaniel is highly affectionate, playful, extremely patient and eager to please. As such, dogs of the breed are good with children and other dogs. Cavaliers are not shy about socialising with much larger dogs. They will adapt quickly to almost any environment, family, and location. Their ability to bond with larger and smaller dogs make them ideal in houses with more than one breed of dog as long as the other dog is trained. The breed is great with people of all ages, from children to seniors, making them a very versatile dog. Cavaliers are naturally curious and playful, but also enjoy simply cuddling up on a cushion or lap. "
