| Scooby Snacks hit the stores! |
 |
When Scooby Snacks arrived at the PetRescue office, we thought we'd been sent morning tea - they smell DELICIOUS!
But although they smell like "people food" these biscuits are for dogs, and our official PetRescue dog treat tasting team were more than happy to oblige!
Scooby Snacks are clearly yummy and are now available at your local Woolworths supermarket - and with part proceeds from every sale donated to PetRescue, you're supporting a worthwhile cause when you grab a great new treat for your four-legged friend!
And for a limited time when you buy Scooby Snacks, you can sign up for your very own free Scooby Doo dog tag! |

| Pets featured on Woman's Day Pet Gallery |
 |
| This month, PetRescue began featuring pets on the Woman's Day website in their pet section. |
|
 |
We are ecstatic that we are able to get our pets' information out to the general public who might be looking for a new family member.
Woman's Day have been a fantastic supporter of PetRescue to date! Our article in early 2005 still continues to educate people about rescue. From the article:
Besides giving a deserving animal another chance, there are other benefits of adopting a homeless animal. "Most shelter workers are passionate and knowledgeable professionals who feel responsible for the future happiness of both the animal and the new owner," says Michelle.
"Most dogs are health and temperament tested and often come with a full history from the previous owner. Rescue groups screen adopters vigorously to ensure they are committed and that the animal goes to the best home possible. Many offer extra help and advice, including information packs and training classes. With all this additional support, you and your new pet are destined to have a fantastic new life together!"

PetRescue in Urban Animal Magazine |
Urban Animal is a a cross-pet magazine available in over 400 Sydney outlets.
This month they feature the details of rescue and re-homing organisations across Sydney for people who’ve lost a loved pet or those who are considering adding a rescue animal to their family.
PetRescue has been featured as the best "central site" for rescue. What they say about us:
Want to let your fingers do the initial walking?
Then tap into www.petrescue.com.au. This central site makes it easy for potential adopters to find and save a rescue animal by outlining information from a vast pool of shelters and adoption agencies from around Australia.
PetRescue is very pleased to be included in Urban Animal and would like to thank them for their support of both us and rescue groups across Australia!
