Derby Animal Welfare Group Inc. ( DAWG) is a not for profit organisation "Looking Out for the Animals of Derby". DAWG focuses on reducing the number of unwanted and abused domestic pets in Derby in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. We promote desexing of dogs and cats and provide financial assistance as necessary. Fund raising is a major pastime for all our volunteers. We run a second hand bookshop. Do mango smoothies at the weekly local markets and hold garage sales on a regular basis. The money raised enables us to keep going, fostering and re homing as well as education and desexing.
