Purple Parrot Bird Rescue is non-profit bird shelter run from home by myself (Miranda) and my partner. We have numerous spacious aviaries to take in rescued, unwanted, and orphaned birds from allover Melbourne and surrounds. These include (but are not limited to): Budgies, Cockatiels, Canaries, Finches, Quaker Parrots, Rainbow Lorikeets, Cockatoos, Grass Parrots, Quails, Greencheek Conures, other Conures, Cockatoos, Galahs, Kakarikis, Lovebirds, Rosellas, Eclectus Parrots, Corellas etc. The list goes on. These can be aviary birds, tame birds, and (in some cases, such as Rainbow Lorikeets, cockatoos, galahs, corellas etc), wild parrots with minor injuries. We cannot, however, take in other wild birds that classed as pests, such as seagulls, pigeons, sparrows, minors, starlings, etc. Please see our website for more information and the latest birds available for adoption: www.birdrescue.webs.com We are located in South East Melbourne, next to Dandenong.
