Guinea Pigs and rabbits are much loved small animals that are often overlooked, neglected and then forgotten! Many do not survive the poor treatment and don't make it to a shelter as a result of their frail and delicate systems. For those that do make it, we are able to give them a second chance. As the Australian Cavy Sanctuary contact for Sydney we rescue and re-home Guinea Pigs (Cavys) and also bunnies. (www.Australiancavysanctuary.com) Animals come to us in a number of ways from surrenders, through to those that find their way into the pound and have a limited number of days until they are euthanized. There are so many pets that are bought through petshops that end up in rescue! Please do not support this terrible cycle. Please look to adopt and give some of these animals a second chance!
