BRISBANE VALLEY CAT RESCUE is dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for abandoned or abused cats and kittens. Some of our beautiful felines have been rescued from local pounds, while others have been surrendered due to changing family circumstances and some have been found lost, injured or starving. All cats and kittens available for adoption have been vet checked, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and de-sexed. Once a cat or kitten arrives at BVCR it will remain in our care until a suitable home is found. We have a firm NO KILL policy unless the animal is suffering from severe illness or injury. We are seeing a huge increase in the number of older cats being brought to us. These cats come from loving homes and have been cherished companions who, due to changed family circumstances must find new families to share their lives with. The owners are, in many cases, bringing these cats enormous distances to the shelter to ensure their continued well being and future adoptions into caring homes. It is our ongoing policy that any animal adopted from BVCR can be returned at any time. You can be assured that any feline adopted from BVCR will make a happy and healthy addition to your family.
