We rescue all forms of small animals, such as; rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, rats, ferrets, chickens, etc. These animals are rescued from pounds across NSW when there is no other option for them but euthanasia. Occasionally we take in surrendered animals. We are a private shelter that is self funded. Due to limited space the sad reality is that every day there are small animals being put down in NSW, and we can only save a limited few. When an animal is rehomed another life can be saved. New homes must be screened prior to adoption. It is important that every animal finds a family that suits its needs and although a rabbit or guinea pig may be less work than a dog or cat, they require the same level of commitment. Please spread the word that any type of animal sold from a petshop is likely to be found in a rescue shelter or pound. Their lives are important, and it is only through families deciding to 'adopt' instead of 'purchasing' that a difference can be made to the suffering of these gorgeous, little creatures.
