We are a group of private rescuers that mostly take in animals from the main kill shelters in Sydney - Blacktown Animal Holding Facility, Renbury Farm Animal Shelter and occassionally Hawkesbury Animal Shelter. If we didn't take these animals in most cases they would be dead. We have carers throughout Sydney and also the Blue Mountains and Wollongong and Central Coast. Some areas we currently have carers are - Inner West Sydney, Hurstville, Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs, Camden, Western Sydney, Northern Suburbs, Portland and Wollongong. The carers have their phone numbers on the listings so you can contact the carer direct. They usually know the animal well as they are living with them everyday so they can give you first hand knowledge of what the animal is like and will give you an idea if the cat is the one for you. If you are after something specific please let us know and we can keep our eyes open. Sometimes our cats and kittens have homes before they go onto Pet Rescue as we have had people looking for a particular cat or kitten. PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT STRAYS OR SURRENDERS. Please contact your local council regarding strays. If you want to surrender your family member please do your best to try and rehome your animals to good permanent homes yourself before contacting us or contact the larger rescue organisations that receive public donations. If we take in your surrenders, then it means an animal in the pound dies :-(
