Friends of the Pound rescues animals out of the Tweed Shire Pound. The animals are given 4 weeks in the pound and are then allowed to be rescued by Friends of the Pound before they are euthanised by the Council. We are a 'not for profit' organisation and rely heavily on donations from the public to enable us to pay our extremely high vet bills etc.
