My name is Bec. From home I run a dog rescue & rehousing service. I have been doing this since February 2005. This service is for owners who can no longer care for their dogs, have ended up in unforeseen situations, or generally just don't want them anymore. I have also rescued a few little dogs from absolutely horrible environments where they have suffered abuse, neglect and many other mistreatment's. When the dogs come into my care I have them all desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, deflead and a trip to the groomers if needed, and then I start to find them a new adoption family. Once the perfect family has been found, I keep all their details on file and I regularly check up on every dog that I rehouse. This ensures that they all go to only the most loving families, and that they don't ever get forgotten about, or mistreated again. Although I mainly rescue small breed (and some large breed) dogs, I have also rescued guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, and also reptiles. My very first reptile was a yellow phase bearded dragon. She was in such a bad state that she was due to get put down. I requested that I be given the chance to save her and give her a decent chance at a happy and full life. She made a full recovery, but suffered losing her 2 back legs and most of her tail. Sadly after 1.5yrs of living with us, little Dusty passed away a very fat and happy lizard. She was originally only given a max of 2 weeks to live, but boy did she prove everybody wrong. ANIMALS ARE MY PASSION, MY FRIENDS. I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM AS I LOVE MY OWN FAMILY. THEY ARE MY FAMILY. Now I am hoping to move into a bigger house on a few acres. Then all of gods creatures great and small will be welcome to join me there. It will be a sanctuary for all animals in need.
