DCH Animal Adoptions, which stands for dogs, cats & horses, is a non-profit animal rescue charity (CFN 18284) committed to the rescue and rehoming of unwanted and neglected domestic dogs, cats and horses. Our volunteers rescue animals from certain death in Sydney's pounds and shelters and horses from the knackery and ensure they are provided with medical attention and foster care until a permanent and loving home can be found. The foster system benefits you in finding your new companion, by providing you with valuable information about the animal gained through the carer's experiences in a home environment, we look after them until you find them (or they find you!). Our dogs and cats are vaccinated wormed, desexed and microchipped. Horses will have their teeth done and hooves trimmed. Our animals are available for an adoption fee which helps with the reimbursement of our veterinary costs. Our site features photographs, a little about each animal and contact numbers where you can find out more information. We would be pleased to assist you in finding the right companion for your lifestyle. As we are a part of a large rescue network in Sydney and surrounds, our links page can be another resource for you in finding your dream pet. DCH Animal Adoptions is run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers with a wide range of roles if you would like to become involved, become a foster carer or to make a donation, we would love to hear from you.
