Beagle Rescue Victoria Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation run by dedicated volunteers for the purpose of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming any impounded, stray, unwanted beagle or beagle-cross. BRV also assists with the rehoming of beloved beagles whose owners, due to circumstances beyond their control, are unable to keep them. The beagles that find their way into BRV's care, are cared for as if they were one of their own. If the beagle is unable to stay in its home environment until a forever home is found, then he/she will come into foster care with BRV in a loving environment until the right home comes along. To minimise the stress of a change of environment on the beagle, BRV does its utmost to ensure that they get the rehoming right the first time. To this end, not only does BRV temperment test the beagle that is coming into its care, but BRV visits with the home of the potential new family to ensure that the transition of a new family member is a smooth one.
