Sydney Animal Second-chance (SAS) is made up of a group of experienced volunteers who not only rescue dogs from deathrow at Sydney's Pounds but also rescue dogs before they are surrendered to the Pounds by their often desperate owners. We believe that if we can protect this latter group of dogs from entering a Pound environment, they will be less traumatised by the dramatic changes to their lives. All dogs are health checked, desexed, vaccinated, receive any other recommended veterinary work, heartworm tested, microchipped and lifetime registered. SAS have a foster carer network right across Sydney and welcome anyone interested in helping in any way or perhaps making a donation towards the upkeep of the dogs in our care. We receive no funding and all our team are dedicated volunteers. Sydney Animal Second-chance Inc. is a not for profit registered charity and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
